Job tasks and responsibilities

An exciting opportunity exists to take over a long standing role that is pivotal in the care and retention of our client base.  Work closely with our operations team to ensure the best level of care is given to each client as they grow their footprint with AVANSER in End 2 End Solutions in smart Telco Solutions.

Joining an existing team, you will ensure clients are delighted at onboarding, understand the best use of the technology they have pursued and identify and execute upsell opportunities. You will work with the Business Development Managers as they hunt for new business, you will take over from them in client retention.

To be successful in this role you must understand how to listen to the needs of a business and be able to troubleshoot issues and escalate to technical support where required.

You will need to be technically savvy and enjoy learning new technologies.

AVANSER brings very cool tech solutions that provide insight into Call Intelligence and Analytics for businesses of all sizes.


Skills and experience

Your duties will include:

  • Client Onboarding & Retention
  • Upsell and Cross Sell of Solutions Based Offerings.
  • Maintain and grow existing revenue base for AVANSER.
  • Handle inbound enquiries
  • Work with Operations to create efficiencies and enhance profitability

Essential Skills:

  • Tertiary Education that focuses on communication and business
  • Relevant experience in account management and sales, managing clients in the technical and telecommunications industry.  Proven expertise in retaining clients and growing business.
  • Smart and savvy – quickly identifies gaps and upskills to suit the needs of the business
  • Technology Literacy: embraces technology as a tool for efficiency.  Is familiar with G Suite, Windows and various collaboration tools. Understand Telephony infrastructure and Digital Marketing Solutions.
  • Communication: the ability to communicate clearly and concisely, varying communication style depending upon the audience.
  • Commerciality: ability to apply knowledge in a practical, commercial manner.  Understands the key drivers in business success.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills to all levels of management & decision makers
  • Telco or Tech Solutions Sales experience would be an added bonus but is not a requirement.
